Dir command /B

I am using

windows 10

Version 21H1

os build 19043.1826

I lost the ability to use the command for example: Dir C:\Movies /B > C:\Movies\Movies.txt

I have downloaded the updated version of powershell and I still do not have that ability. 

I use command lines like this in batch files 

How do I get the command  DIR /B to work?
