Creating users without mailbox

Hi all,   I want to create users without creating a mailbox and instead using an existing mail address. It is possible by guest users. But my users should be real users but from different domains....

    Hi FlorianKurrle,

     

    Ok, so you have an OnPrem Domain and an AAD Domain.

    The AAD Domain is named *.onmicrosoft.com, right?

    No Custom Domain entered. No AD Connect build up.

     

    With this, you will not be able to enter the OnPrem Domain Mail Address to the AAD User. The Mail Address that is entered needs a Custom registered Domain, that is what you don't have. So all your users would only be able to use a *.onmicrosoft.com Mail Address.

Die Benutzer sind in meiner lokalen Domäne vorhanden. Ich möchte aber die Domänen noch nicht verbinden. Ein anderer Administrator ist für die lokale Domäne zuständig.

Die lokale Domäne hat die selbe E-Mail-Adresse wie die Benutzer in Microsoft 365.
