Changing the Backlog Iteration
Hello, all. We're thinking of creating a new backlog iteration for our team and setting it as the default backlog. We would keep the "old" backlog with closed stories, etc. intact. Would doing something like this pose any risks to historical sprint data or are there unintended consequences that should be considered?

Below things you may need to consider:
• Team boards may not show items from the old iteration unless configured to include it
• Saved queries might need updating to reflect the new iteration path
• Work item templates may default to the old iteration, review and adjust if needed
• Dashboards and reports scoped to the old iteration may miss new items
• Ensure you're updating the correct team’s settings under Project Settings > Teams
