Azure Yaml Pipelines Teams connector not listing all stages in the stages dropdown

When creating a notification in a Teams channel for an Azure DevOps yaml pipeline, I select “Run stage state changed.” When I click Next, I choose a YAML pipeline in Azure DevOps that has three stages defined - qa, staging and production. When I click Next after that, in the Stage dropdown, where I would expect to see [Any] and the three stages, all I see is [Any] and the QA stage, build. I have tried this for multiple pipelines and all are giving similar result.
