Azure purchased Domain name and SSL can be used for Azure Could Service URL ?

Hi,

 

We are able to configure/published IIS website on Azure cloud services URL and the website is accessible through the Internet. Now we are planning to add custom domain and SSL to cloud service URL.

I have gone through the Microsoft blogs and understand that we must purchase Custom domain name and SSL from the third party. Instead of purchasing from third-party can I purchase in Azure portal and use for my cloud service? Is it only usable for AppServices? Can't we use for cloud service? Please clarify...
