Azure DevOps Test Plans Test retention - What influences setting back test outcome to Active?

Yes, retention can set related test point outcomes back to Active when test runs/results are deleted. If you set manual test result retention to “Never delete,” retention should not reset those manual outcomes due to age, but automated results can still be affected by build retention policies. I’d check both the project-level test retention and the build pipeline retention settings.
