Azure Dashboard - Displaying data from custom API

I have an Azure Dashboard which displays a wide range of metrics of our APIs to allow us to monitor performance / reliability / issues which are all pulled from standard App Insights queries.

However, I have some metrics that I want to report which are collated using a custom API.

Is it possible to surface the response data from a custom (RESTful) API in to an Azure Dashboard tile?
