Azure Backup
I have a windows virtual machine which needs to be decommissioned but before that I need to take backup of the virtual machine with retention period of 1 year. Currently Scheduled backup is enabled on the VM with the daily backup policy. Do I need to take on-demand backup and select retention length as 1 year or need to create policy and take backup by applying that policy ?
