Announcing Edge tool container image deprecation from Docker Hub

Hi all,

 

As of July 1st 2021, all /Microsoft org container images hosted in Docker Hub will be deprecated per prior announcement. With the deprecation, we are decoupling container images for ‘iotedgedev’ tool via Docker Hub to comply with the new policy. To avoid any impact on your development, deployment or automation scripts, please follow the steps described in the blog post .

    Our latest iotedgedev container has been published to MCR. Please check the MCR repository from the mapping table here.
