A step closer to Plug and Play?
Is there a possibility of using hardware of our own choice (other than stated compatible hardware devices) with Azure IoT solution accelerators?

Ahmad-KAISPE , Short answer is yes. We have a collection of open sources SDKs that will allow you to connect IoT devices to Azure IoT Hub (which is the core service used to connect devices to Azure). You can find more information in here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/iot-hub/iot-hub-device-sdk-platform-support
