Azure AD-Connect Staging Mode server not kept in sync

I have a test environment where the Staging Mode server was not kept up to date with the Active Azure AD-Connect server.   When I export the configs on each and compare the 2, there are some major differences.    Is there a way I can just import the config from the Active server and place it on the Staging server so they get back to the same configuration?

Alternatively, can I uninstall the staging server then re-install / import the configuration from the Active server?

To ensure your Azure AD Connect Staging Mode server stays in sync, start by exporting the configuration from your active server and importing it to the staging server. Make sure that both servers are running the same version and that synchronization schedules are consistent. If the issue persists, reviewing logs for any errors during synchronization may help identify potential problems. Hope this helps

I know where I can export the current configuration for the Active server, but everything I see on importing that onto the Staging server is only during installation of the Staging server. What if the Staging server already exists but needs a 'fresh' import, how is that accomplished? Or if I need to re-install the staging server in order to be able to import fresh, what are steps for uninstalling/removing the Staging server from participating actively to a state where I can start over with a fresh install in order to do the import that is offered during the installation?

Can I 'disabled' the staging server this way.... and then reinstall it to allow for the Import option to be utilized?
