Failed to update data source credentials: Viva Insights
Hi all,
I am trying to refresh the Power BI template from Power BI workspace after publishing it.
I succeeded in refreshing that data on PowerBI desktop using the same Viva credentials, but after publishing when I refresh from the Web it gives me the following error: Failed to update data source credentials: The credentials provided for the VivaInsights source are invalid.

I was wondering whether is problem of Viva Insights or Power BI side? Does someone know the way how to fix it?
UPDATE - I waited more than a week for a response from MS Support and never got one, so on a whim I tried again to validate creds for the Viva Insights datasets - and go figure, IT WORKED. Refresh has been happening as scheduled without issue.
Couple days later I finally got a response from support. I asked them if something changed on the back end, and was told YES the engineers found and fixed an issue that was affecting everyone. So if you have not tried again recently...give it a shot and see if it works for you.
Might have been nice if this was a service health advisory or otherwise published someplace...but at least they fixed it.

Did you try to log in with the same credentials as the ones you were using when you refreshed the report on Power BI? - Robin160Copper ContributorSame exact issue here. I have a support request submitted...pending a response.
