Hello everyone,

We are using Windows Server 2019 Standard as the primary and currently only domain controller. Previously, there were several additional domain controllers, but they have all been demoted.

Please advise on how to further investigate and resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

18DC06 is the last remaining Domain Controller.

In "sites and services" there is none of the old demoted servers

    Hello,

is 18DC06, the last remaining Domain Controller? or one of the demoted DCs?
since you mentioned the rest are demoted, where they cleanly demoted?

Check in "Sites and Services" if there are still any Servers(demoted) listed and perform clean-up.

do a "dcdiag /test:VerifyReferences /v" and check which backlink again.
