Cluster Update asking to enable CredSSP
I installed Windows Admin Center, its great and working fine, but one of the things it advises me to do is to turn off CredSSP on servers, but when I use the Updates link on cluster page, it tells me that it needs to turn on CredSSP, is this a must? How do I create a new certificate for Windows Admin Center??
I just now observed that our internal WAC certificate was only two months old and it's already expired. Can I simply create and use our own self-signed certificate and use it?? Do I install it like normal certificates within the Certificates MMC and WAC will automagically use it?? Thank you, Tom
Windows Admin Center Access Denied
Greetings, 2 days ago I installed WAC on my desktop Win 10 (1909). I was using Edge and added just a couple servers to monitor while I test this product. This morning I fired it up in Edge and right after I see the short list of Servers followed with the following error: Please advise Thanks
Cutover Timeout recommended settings
Hello I'm trying to migrate a server to Azure. I'm in the cutover phase, it has a default timeout of 2880 minutes, which is 48 hours. Personally I can't have a file server "offline" for 48 hours during cutover. It's a simple server, so I changed this to 60 minutes. It's 2016 to 2016 on prem to Azure. It's been running for more than an hour, and stuck at 44%. When would this cancel, since it's reached it's timeout threshold? How would I manually cancel this job, as there's no UI for that? thanks john
Windows Admin Center 2410: cannot add computers
After a fresh installation of Windows Admin Center 2410, I cannot add any servers, clusters, PCs etc. WAC gives me "You can add this computer to your list of connections, but we can't confirm it's available" when I enter a computer name (either of FQDN or computer name alone). When I change to the Search Active Directory tab, I get: "We can’t search Active Directory because the Windows Admin Center computer isn’t joined to an Active Directory domain. It’s also possible that your account doesn’t have permission to read from Active Directory." The account I use is a domain admin, and the server running WAC is definitely joined to the AD DS. The server had the previous version of WAC installed where everything worked. Now, with the new version, that's no longer the case...
