Cluster Update asking to enable CredSSP
I installed Windows Admin Center, its great and working fine, but one of the things it advises me to do is to turn off CredSSP on servers, but when I use the Updates link on cluster page, it tells me that it needs to turn on CredSSP, is this a must? Or there is another way?Konstantinos N. ChionasOct 15, 2018Copper Contributor42KViews3likes42CommentsNow Available: Windows Admin Center 1910.2 Insider Preview

Hello Really hoping someone can help, I have found similiar posts but they are much older and usually resolution has been to update Storage Migration Extension (I am using 4.1.0) I am receiving Error 36890 and gets stuck at loading once I reach the start the transfer stage (more details below) Source Server is 2008 R2 and Destination is Server 2022 Standard, Current server is a DC but my understanding is I will need to demote before we start the cutover? (I did also remove AD and it didnt make any difference, so have restored AD/DC as I had to abort the migration) Thanks in advance 02/03/2024-09:10:21.994 [Erro] GetTransferDeviceState request failed for job=Test error=36890: ErrorCode: 36890, Transfer was not run at Microsoft.StorageMigration.Service.StorageMigrationService.GetTransferDeviceState(String jobName, Int32 maxCount, Byte[] nextToken) [d:\os\src\base\dms\service\StorageMigrationService.ITransfer.cs::GetTransferDeviceState::2187] 02/03/2024-09:10:21.995 [Erro] ExceptionMessage : (Transfer was not run), ExceptionToString: (ErrorCode: 36890, Transfer was not run at Microsoft.StorageMigration.Service.StorageMigrationService.GetTransferDeviceState(String jobName, Int32 maxCount, Byte[] nextToken) at SyncInvokeGetTransferDeviceState(Object , Object[] , Object[] ) at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.SyncMethodInvoker.Invoke(Object instance, Object[] inputs, Object[]& outputs) at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.DispatchOperationRuntime.InvokeBegin(MessageRpc& rpc) at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.ImmutableDispatchRuntime.ProcessMessage5(MessageRpc& rpc) at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.ImmutableDispatchRuntime.ProcessMessage11(MessageRpc& rpc) at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.MessageRpc.Process(Boolean isOperationContextSet)) [d:\os\src\base\dms\service\ErrorHandlerBehaviorAttribute.cs::HandleError::37]SolvedWhytey88Feb 03, 2024Copper Contributor2.8KViews3likes21CommentsCutover Timeout recommended settings
Hello I'm trying to migrate a server to Azure. I'm in the cutover phase, it has a default timeout of 2880 minutes, which is 48 hours. Personally I can't have a file server "offline" for 48 hours during cutover. It's a simple server, so I changed this to 60 minutes. It's 2016 to 2016 on prem to Azure. It's been running for more than an hour, and stuck at 44%. When would this cancel, since it's reached it's timeout threshold? How would I manually cancel this job, as there's no UI for that? thanks johnJohn WildesJan 29, 2019Brass Contributor4.6KViews0likes18CommentsStorage Migration Service Inventory completed with errors
Hi, I am running Windows Server 2019 Storage Migration Service Server to migrate a Windows Server 2012 R2 Server to Windows Server 2019. The Job, on 3 of my most important shares, says Completed with Errors"and due to the nature of the information I cannot ignore this and need to identify which folder have issues and errors. I cannot seem to find much in the Windows log files, any advise will be appreciated. Thank you.Kobus_OlivierJun 14, 2019Copper Contributor12KViews1like16CommentsWAC Not displaying CPU or Memory usage correctly
We are having an issue with our WAC gateway where all our Azure Stack HCI clusters CPU and Memory usage is 0 with a total of NaN%, also the servers do not display memory or CPU: I cant seem to figure this issue out, not sure what I should do next.David_Smith040Aug 03, 2022Copper Contributor4.2KViews0likes16Comments
