Hi, all! Welcome to the Viva Community. We are thrilled you are here to connect and engage with peers and experts in the employee experience space. To get to know the members of the Viva Community, we are going to start this very first discussion forum with introductions. We hope this thread continues to grow over time so members of our community can continually get to know one another. Some ideas of what to include in your introduction: your name, where you are located, your role in your organization, topics of interest, and why you are excited to join this Community. I'll go first! My name is Melissa Barry and I am part of the Microsoft Viva team. I lead our customer empowerment team as part of Viva People Science and launching this site is one of the many projects that I am fortunate to be part of in my current role. I am passionate about making people happier and successful at work, and I believe when individuals succeed, organizations succeed. I am interested in the intersection of organizational psychology and technology and what that means for the future of work, especially as we think about AI. I am thrilled to be part of this community to connect and learn from all of you. Outside of work, I love exploring our local NYC parks and restaurants with my husband and daughter.
Does Viva work across multiple tenants, Viva connections and Engage specifically?
How will the experience be in a cross tenant scenario or a parent child tenancy. Will parent experience override any child tenant Viva experience configuration or Viva connections is completely individual tenant based?
Issue with Image Upload in VIVA Engage via Power Automate
Hi Experts, We’re currently using Power Automate to post data in VIVA Engage via the VIVA Engage Post connector. However, despite trying various HTML codes, the images are being posted as links instead of displaying directly. Please see the attached screenshot for reference. Is there an alternative method to resolve this issue? Thank you for your help!
Viva Engage - Articles - what license is needed for end users
Hello, I am looking for the answer for my case. We have couple of Viva suite licenses and use Viva Engage for internal communication specifically type of message "Article" which is available only for people who are licensed. Do have to be covered also end users who are just consumers of messages (Articles) in Viva Engage and are not able to create this kind of message? Thank you Mirek
Migration from Workplace to Viva Engage
We are in the process of transitioning from Workplace to Viva Engage and have obtained JSON files from Workplace. How can we upload them while ensuring that all posts and pictures retain their original timestamps for a smooth migration experience for end users? Is there any documentation as how do we upload JSON to Microsoft sharepoint?
360 - Are Admins Able to Add Raters On Behalf of Subjects?
Prior to the migration to Viva, the documentation for Glint 360 assessments suggested it was possible to administratively add raters. I don't see a way to do that in the program set up. Is this possible? We had been looking forward to letting subjects search and find their own unlike our former tools. We did one test with the Entra/Azure search and we decided it was going to frustrate our leaders.Glint 360 in Viva Activation Steps Needed?
Good Day, New to MS communities, so please let me know if I have not make it to the correct place. Our team was anxiously awaiting the release of the 360 program in Viva Glint. Since the most recent release date of August 24th has come and gone this weekend and I don't see it in my tenant and in looking at the MS roadmap it is not showing as rolling out or rolled out. If the rollout did happen in this most recent release, is there something I need to ask my global admins to update to make it available?
Deliver security modules through Viva
Hi there, Within the Attack Simulation Training section of the Microsoft M365 security portal, there are a large number of security training modules we can deliver to end users. These modules are usually delivered through email and manual selection. Is there a way to provide these training modules through Microsoft Viva Learning, and if so, how does one do it? Thanks, Mark
Viva Training Inquiry
Hi, Our company is looking to implement online training programs and I have a few questions. I have not been able to get in touch with a microsoft sales representative. 1. We would like to create quizzes and have them embedded to the training modules. Is this possible? 2. Is this private so it is only visible to people within the company? 3. Organizaiton is key factor for us. These training documents will be auditied How does it keep records? 4. Is there any type of integration possibilies with our in house crm(customer relationship management system)? 5. Company of around 50 people what is the cost? What is the main differences in price tiers 6. Any metrics available to show the impact of the viva system?
