Hi,
On a single Microsoft Windows Hyper-V Server (2019) the WindowsAdminCenter2511.exe (2.6.5.16) cannot be installed. Previously the server was connected to AzureArc but it was removed and all traces from the server were removed. The previous installer (2.6.2) can be installed without any issues on this server.

This version of Windows Admin Center does not support high

availability (HA) installations. See Known issues at

    Hey Kristaps_Esterlins​, 

    Just to confirm: 
    - Did you try upgrading from 2.6.2 to 2.6.4? Or was this a fresh install? 
    - Did you perform any other WAC installation between trying build 2.6.2. and build 2.6.4? 

    This error message should only appear if you had installed a version of Windows Admin Center older than version 2410 on your machine previously. You can hit this error if you have a remnant registry entry here: 

    HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ServerManagementGateway\ha

      Hi,

      It seems that the reply or forum itself is having issues with some tags. I cannot reply to the questions you sent to me.

      The Hyper-V Host previously had WAC v2311 installed and then v2410. After that it was connected to our Azure tenant via Azure Arc. Upgraded to v2511 (First build which was released before 10.02.2026) and then the Host was removed from Azure Arc and WAC v2511 was removed. When I tried to install the latest (9th April release or the release before, it shows the same error message as in my initial post.)

      The registry key for high-availability is not present on the system. Maybe there is some kind of other check when the installer is run?

        We were able to pinpoint the issue and released a new build (2.6.7) with the fix. Can you please give that build a try?
