Error of Azure Policy application / remediation:
Remediation: This is one of the issues fixed in the hotpatch 1.5.2403.08001.
If you are affected by this issue - download the latest patch (DL on the top of this article or aka.ms/wacdownload - upgrade WAC to 1.5.2403.08001
- for best experience, based on own experiences, after applying the hotpatch:
-- restart WAC gateway service (ServerManagementGatewayService) once, via --- Remote PowerShell > Enter-PSSession wacgw.contoso.com > restart-service ServerManagementGatewayService -Force --- Server Manager > select WAC GW from Servers list > scroll down to Services section, search for service ServerManagementGatewayService in the full text search
-- delete your Edge Browser Cache
- Use PowerShell or WAC to offboard affected Arc-Enabled Servers
-- WAC: navigate to the affected resource > Settings > Arc > Disconnect. This will uninstall the agent and delete the Arc Resource (this is important!). -- Wait until finished
