MicrosoftThe automatic update has never worked for me and I've never seen Microsoft update automatically update WAC either. I thought I might have just not been patient enough for it to be released to Microsoft Update (it says in WAC that updates may take 2-3 weeks to be available through Microsoft Update). That said, I'd like to always be on the latest version, so I've been manually updating it any time there is an update. So far in 2024 there have been 2 updates:
1.5.2402.08001 and 1.5.2403.08001. In both cases my WAC told me there was an update available with a handy little link to this site...in both cases there was no download link available for the update for a few days after WAC started telling me I was out of date.
Can you suppress the alert that is front and center every time I open WAC telling me I'm out of date, until after the update is available through automatic updates (Microsoft Update)? Or at least make the update available at the same time? It's annoying to be scolded for being out of date and not being able to do anything about it.
