Sam_T I just tried to help you as I am seeing same impractical things but try to find workarounds.
I am not even sure if Prasidh_Arora can do much on the update issues like the list view or missing updates. The modules are eventually owned by other groups at Microsoft.
I've shared a long list and will review which are solved or implemented.
From your posts it feels like you are frustrated with WAC and I can partly feel that, for 3+ years the decision was made full stop all other modern tools like DSAC or Server Manager and focus on WAC, and also, since there's no other Tool but PowerShell focusing on Arc and AzureStackHCI etc.
I wished that WAC gets more attention it deserves Prasidh might get more Devs and ressources.
It would help if MSFT would set an end of date to mmc consoles for example 3 years.
And bring them back better in WAC plugins.
This seems not realistic as active directory nodule is far from DSAC which is the best GUI tool we have now and I have seen no improvements for long in some crucial plugins.
From my point of view from different customers still many use the legacy tools.
Microsoft should remove the RSAT stuff in "Windows Server 2025" but offer equal or better functionality than before.
This 2110 release goes into this direction, clearly.
I am still very positive about this release. The potential and momentum is still there.
They should remove the download restriction though.
