Hello,

 

We are still missing a lot of features from Server Manager regarding file servers, like :

 

- Share type selection : Quick, Advanced, Applications for SMB, Quick, Advanced for NFS

- NTFS permissions customizations (shares are not usable in an enterprise environnement without this feature)

- Search for NT AUTHORITY or BUILTIN identities within Active Directory (like, "NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users")

- Opened Sessions/Opened Files and corresponding statistics currently available in Computer Management MMC

- Quota Management from Server Manager/FSRM MMC

- File Server Resource Manager features : things like file screening, extension rules, various reporting etc... 

 

Also, Acccess-Based Enumerations shoud dbe enabled by default, and directly visible within the right-pane. Please do not hide such critical features.

 

Last, the tooltip for ABE is in the wrong place, next to SMB encryption option. This will cause serious problems for your customers when they activate SMB encryption believing they activate ABE instead.
