OSlocale: is not en-us

If you install WAC 2410 operating system which OSlocale is not equal en-us, you might experience that WAC services fail to start, and you cannot open WAC 2410 preview update 1.

Please follow my guidelines and avoid installing Windows 11 or Windows Server with non en-us language.

Unrelated to WAC, in the past there have been a range of issues with that.

This is because in localized operating systems like de-DE, fr-FR etc, the PowerShell commands, Roles and Feature Names and Local Security Groups are renamed (localized).

If you require localization my recommendation is to install / deploy en-us OSes and apply dynamic language packs (LIP) via Settings app, per user, as required.
