Echoing the comments already posted. I used to visit the 'all blogs' post on a weekly basis to read about developments. This new version is unusable by not being able to view posts in date order.
I also preferred the old view of three article previews per row. It was much easier to skim over the articles to find what was of interest to me.
Finally, having the site automatically display new articles as you got to the end of the list seems like a modern way to deliver multiple pages of articles. Having to clicking 'next page' links to get through multiple pages of articles seems like a step back in time rather than a change for the better.
Over all, this update seems like a change for the worse, rather than an enhancement.
