Yammer.com Rebranded to Viva Engage

The Yammer web experience has now become Viva Engage. 

 

Yammer web experience has been rebranded to Viva Engage.

 

Additionally, Yammer SharePoint webpart, Yammer Embed, Outlook notifications and Yammer mobile app have all been rebranded to Viva Engage. 

 

When existing Yammer Desktop PWA users open the app, they’ll get a prompt asking them to reinstall the app. Users will have to click “OK” and the app will reinstall and renamed to “Viva Engage (Yammer)”. 

 

If the prompt doesn't display the Engage logo and shows the Yammer logo (like the image below), users will have to uninstall the app and reinstall it again.

If you need more information, review the rebranding toolkit for resources to communicate the changes to your employees.

 

 

Note: URLs domains and APIs will not be rebranded until the end of the calendar year. URLs will redirect automatically. Additionally Yammer is still listed as the email sender for Outlook notifications, but the emails will include the Viva Engage branding.

    Allison Michels I tried it again this morning but no luck. Would it be possible to send the rebranding toolkit directly via mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons? Thank you in advance, Ress

    This mentioned redirection for the APIs, will it it be working continuously over time and customer will not need to change their API codes?

    Hi, we've been having problems this week with users repeatedly being asked to sign-in to Yammer/Viva Engage where we have feed iframes on intranet pages, coinciding with the change of browser name this week. May or may not be related, but have the app IDs been updated? Or is there anything else we need to do with our IT set-up to make Viva Engage work? Thanks.

  • DoloresJackson  - Yikes. Have you tried downloading again? I downloaded and it worked fine for me. What version of PPT are you using? Hopefully we can troubleshoot this and you can get access to it!

    There seems to have an issue with the rebranding toolkit when downloaded.
