As we work together with our customers and listen to their feedback, we continue to improve the Viva Connections experience for organizations around the world. Here’s some of the new enhancements and features that are currently available in Viva Connections or are rolling out now.
Viva Connections Multilingual Dashboard - Create a Viva Connections Dashboard that can be viewed in multiple languages to support and include the different languages represented in your organization.
Top News card: The Top News card is fully available. This allows admins to select a SharePoint news item to feature as a Dashboard card. Communicating with your front-line workers on their mobile devices is critical, using the Top News card will highlight the relevant news targeted just for them.
News that has been boosted will prominently display in the Top news card. The card is personalized and will honor audience targeting.
Performance updates for desktop and mobile:
- new navigation for SharePoint links in Quick View for cards in iOS
- easier linking to Teams apps from dashboard
Feed & notifications improvements have been a requests from customers and we've delivered improved experiences including:
- Improved the personalized AI ranking (user interests & input) refines the relevancy of content for each user.
- Added support to the Viva Connections Feed to enable rapid learning from A/B experimentation.
Adaptive Card Extension: A sample card gallery is now available in the SharePoint Store. This contains 12 inspirational and guiding samples of Dashboard cards and design samples of the cards and QuickView. These cards make it easy to get started.

Instantly start playing with sample cards and data and see how the integrated Microsoft Teams experience works. This gallery offers design guidance for laying out several types of data using Adaptive Cards and SPFx.
In the SharePoint store, we have new additions via the Viva Connections banner and a new app catalog. Explore these apps and integrate with Viva Connections to stay informed, engaged, and empowered.

New features for admins:
- SharePoint tenant admins can now “set the Home Site”
- Integration with Microsoft Teams admin center for admins to better understand telemetry and usage.
New Integrations are now generally available!
Moveworks – Moveworks is the AI platform that automates support at work. This integration makes getting help at work effortless, wherever people go. To learn more, request a demo. Find it in Microsoft AppSource – destination for business apps.
Zebra-Reflexis – This AI-powered workforce management and task management solution helps customers augment workflows, guides them to their best next move, improves attention to detail, and delivers higher-quality outputs for a unique performance edge. The Microsoft and Zebra-Reflexis joint solution for Shifts (now in private preview) creates a single pane of glass for frontline workers that streamlines everyday processes for higher worker engagement and productivity.
BlueYonder – The Workforce Management (WFM) integration with Teams Shifts connector (in private preview) combines employee communication with shift management tools to empower your front line. Associates can directly access self-service WFM tools to view and manage schedules from within Teams’ familiar interface from any mobile device, leaving more time to focus on the job at hand. BlueYonder is now available via the Shifts card integration.
BetterUp – This integration for Viva Connections enables companies and employees to access learning tool and improve their wellbeing, productivity, and leadership skills. Through this card companies can also learn more about BetterUp, sign up, and access free evidence-based content to jump start their learning.
Achievers (coming soon) – Extend the reach of your employee experience program by integrating your Achievers platform with Viva Connections. This integration will empower employees to easily view and interact with their community newsfeed within Viva — keeping them up-to-date and involved with program activities that drive employee engagement, such as peer-to-peer recognitions, company announcements, personal celebrations and more.
