I can only agree with so many others here - this is important and I'm basically desperate for news. Every day, as a software developer, I have to work around the issues of not having nested virtualization. I bought an AMD Threadripper processor because frankly, it's a whole generation ahead of where Intel are right now. AMD have supported this forever and I did not know at the time how much pain this would cause me. It would cost me well over a thousand £ to replace my existing system with an Intel build, it would be worse than what I have and, in all honesty, I feel I shouldn't have to.
I could and might put a preview build on my system instead as a last resort, but this is my work machine and any down time is lost working hours and therefore lost billable hours. I really don't want anything other than released, tested and officially supported versions installed.
Please say if you have a planned release time for this feature. Please also say if it's going to be in Windows 11. I really don't like MacOS's UI but I will be willing to upgrade to Windows 11 if I have to, for nested virtualization.
