We have a super exciting announcement to make. You can now sync your reminders on Samsung Reminder app with To Do. It’s a great way to access your phone reminders created from Bixby, calls, notes, messages, etc. on PC and browser apps of To Do, Outlook and Teams.

3 ways to get the best out of it

  • Now, more than ever, it's important to connect. Create a reminder from a call and it will be available with all your tasks in To Do. Even better, you can click on 'Open in Dialer' to start your call right from your laptop with Your Phone app.
  • Use Bixby to quickly capture a reminder on the go. Just say “Bixby, remind me to pay bills this evening” and the captured reminder would sync and be available on your PC and web.
  • Create a reminder from Samsung Messages, Samsung Notes, or Samsung browser, then manage them in the To Do app on your PC.

How to start syncing?

To start syncing your To Do lists and tasks with Samsung Reminder, connect it to Microsoft To Do:

  1. Open the Samsung Reminder app > Settings > Sync with Microsoft To Do.
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
  3. Accept the permission request and you’re good to go!

It’s important that you set To Do as your default list so that reminders created from outside of the Reminder app e.g. from Bixby, calls, etc., are synced with To Do. To do that, open your Samsung Reminder app settings > Save Reminders from other apps to Microsoft To Do.

Steps to set To Do as default

Note: Samsung Reminder sync with Microsoft To Do is available for all Galaxy Models with Android 10 or higher.

For more information, visit the support page for the integration.

We can’t wait to hear what you think of this integration - let us know in the comments below or over on Twitter and Facebook. You can also write to us at todofeedback@microsoft.com.

I'm writing here with a corporate account and I'm not sure my cell phone is linked with it or not. Anyway I'd like to UNDO my cell phone synchronization with this Microsoft "To do" feature, though. If somebody here could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

doesn't work for me. In setting, Sync with Microsoft To Do, in blue underneath, it says Active account is NULL.

I think some people here have missed the point of this integration. The point is to sync the limited, but unique features of Samsung's Reminder app while continuing to use Microsoft To-Do as your primary scheduling app for the day. So, expecting all the features of To-Do to be available in Reminder is akin to lamenting over your new Surface not having a floppy disk drive.

The Samsung Reminder app's About page states that I already have the latest version (10.7.02.0) yet I can't see the 'Sync with Microsoft To do' option in Settings...

It only syncs with the Tasks list of To Do ? We cannot sync to the custom Lists ?

Really, giving a connector to 20% of the features of an app, is like not giving the connector.

  • Excellent feature and direction for evolving M365 / To Do service. Especially when my other Android apps, wants to create some reminder, this goes to Samsung Reminders app, which sends reminders to the Microsoft To Do (such as missed phone call reminder).

However, this is useless in most scenarios, since Samsung Reminder app does not support Android Work Profile 😞

My intention of using synchronization with Samsung Reminder would be to at least be able to use it to receive notifications of tasks in Microsoft To-Do, but I can't, because I organize my tasks in different subject lists (work, college, courses, etc.) , and Reminder only allows synchronization of one list at a time, in addition to not allowing synchronization of smart lists (Planned, for example).
For now, this feature is not useful to me.

  • I like this feature. However.... from an App Protection Policy perspective....not so much.

As y'all aware, we can only protect Microsoft M365 apps. Unless Samsung has an integration.

I'm facing this issue with WebEx Meetings. Can't protect w/ A.P.P. can't even wrap the app.
