Windows Server October 2026 monthly security updates impact SCVMM environments

I recently encountered a potentially similar issue while configuring a highly available VMM Library in a VMM 2025 environment running on Windows Server 2025 with KB5126646 installed.

The Add Default Resources operation failed with Error 24374, including NO_PARAM during a WinRM GetError call. The associated BITS job remained Suspended with zero bytes transferred.

I updated both VMM servers to UR1, applied the documented KIR workaround to both VMM servers and both Library servers (FS3501 and FS3502), and restarted the affected servers. After clearing the previous BITS job and removing and re-adding the Library Server, the operation completed successfully, including the transfer of default resources.
