I have a problem converting from Vmware VM to Hyper-V via SCVMM. Conversion ends with 0x80072ee2 error (Error 2940
VMM is unable to complete the requested file transfer. The connection to the HTTP server ... could not be established.).
The problem occurs when the VM hard disk capacity is more than 60GB. This happens on different ESXI and Hyper-V hosts. Tests have shown that before the error occurs, the ESXI host loses all connections (including to with VCenter, SCVMM and the hypervisor itself is no longer available) via the web interface. In the ESXI logs of the host /var/log/hostd.log this error appears Panic: Memory exceeds hard limit. Panic. In the SCVMM interface, the load on the ESXI CPU is 255%. This is not normally the situation. The ESXI host never loses connection with anyone and is always available. This only happens when converting via SCVMM. I was looking for a solution to this bug on ESXI host in Vmware forums etc. But didn't find.
