...who recently graduated with a master’s degree in software engineering from Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie in Poland.

This is the next segment of our blog series highlighting Microsoft Student Ambassadors who achieved the Gold milestone, the highest level attainable, and have recently graduated from university. Each blog in the series features a different student and highlights their accomplishments, their experience with the Student Ambassador community, and what they are up to now.

How has being part of the Microsoft Student Ambassadors community helped you connect with other tech enthusiasts and expand your global network?

Being part of the Microsoft Student Ambassadors community honestly helped me connect with people in a way I didn’t expect. It was my first real step into the cloud world, and joining the program opened the door to a community full of people who are just as curious about tech as I am. Instead of feeling lost or on my own, I suddenly had a group I could talk to, ask questions, and learn from.

What helped the most was how easy it was to meet people from different parts of the world. Some connections happened naturally during online sessions, while others came from simple conversations in group chats about projects, certifications, or random tech problems we were trying to solve. Over time, these small interactions added up and turned into a real network.

The offline side of the community was just as valuable. Going to meetups and conferences gave me the chance to talk to people face-to-face and actually build relationships instead of just usernames on a screen. Meeting other ambassadors in real life made the community feel more genuine and motivating.

Overall, the program gave me the push I needed to start networking, reach out more, and get involved in tech activities I probably wouldn’t have joined on my own. It helped me grow my global network in a very natural way through shared interests, collaboration, and simply being around people who enjoy learning as much as I do.

What impact did access to Microsoft tools and resources - like Azure credits, Visual Studio Enterprise, and Copilot - have on your journey as an AI-focused tech leader?

Access to Microsoft tools and resources had a huge effect on how I grew as an AI-focused tech leader. Getting Azure credits was especially helpful, because it finally let me experiment with real cloud services without worrying about the cost. I could build and test side projects, try out different architectures, and see how things worked in practice instead of just reading about them. It also made it possible for me to run workshops where participants could use the cloud for free, which made the sessions much more hands-on and engaging.

Visual Studio Enterprise gave me a more complete development setup than I’d ever had before. Having advanced tools, better debugging options, and features I normally wouldn’t have access to made working on projects feel more professional and helped me improve the quality of what I built. It also pushed me to explore areas of software engineering that I hadn’t touched yet.

Copilot became one of the most useful additions. It made it easier to move faster, test ideas, and focus more on problem-solving instead of getting stuck on small coding details. For AI-related projects especially, Copilot helped me try out different approaches more confidently and learn new patterns just by seeing how it suggested solutions.

Overall, these resources gave me the space to experiment, build, and teach others without limits. They helped me grow my cloud and AI skills in a much more practical way and made it easier for me to take on leadership roles in the community.

In what ways has the Student Ambassadors program strengthened your resume, boosted your confidence, or helped you develop AI-ready skills for your future career?

Being part of the Student Ambassadors program has definitely strengthened my resume and my confidence as I work toward a future in AI and cloud. The program motivated me to aim higher, including setting a personal goal of becoming a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional one day. Having that kind of direction helped me stay focused and push myself to grow both technically and professionally.

The community side of the program also made a big difference. I was able to build a strong network of people in tech—not just other students, but also professionals, mentors, and builders from different countries. These connections helped me learn about real industry expectations, discover new opportunities, and even grow my own business network. It made me more comfortable communicating, presenting, and taking initiative in group settings.

On the technical side, the program gave me the motivation and resources to develop solid cloud and AI skills. I completed multiple certifications, worked on hands-on projects, and gained experience with tools that are essential for modern AI work. All of this made my resume much stronger because I wasn’t just listing skills—I had real projects, credentials, and community impact to back them up.

Overall, the Student Ambassadors program helped me grow in every direction: career-wise, technically, and personally. It gave me the confidence to lead, the ecosystem to learn, and the motivation to keep improving as I build my path in the AI and cloud world.
