...who recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Faculdade de Engenharia Sorocaba Informatica in Brazil.
This is the next segment of our blog series highlighting Microsoft Student Ambassadors who achieved the Gold milestone, the highest level attainable, and have recently graduated from university. Each blog in the series features a different student and highlights their accomplishments, their experience with the Student Ambassador community, and what they are up to now.
How has being part of the Microsoft Student Ambassadors community helped you connect with other tech enthusiasts and expand your global network?
Being part of the Microsoft Student Ambassadors community, I had the opportunity to connect with tech enthusiasts from many different backgrounds and stages of their journeys. Through the online and in-person workshops and talks I helped to organize, I met students and tech professionals from many countries and many of those encounters grew into genuine friendships that continue beyond the program.
One of the most meaningful aspects of the experience was collaborating with ambassadors from Brazil and across Latin America on free community-driven events. Working with people from different regions allowed me to learn new perspectives, share what I knew, and contribute to projects that had a real impact on learners who were just starting out in tech. These collaborations showed me the strength of a united and supportive community.
The program also helped me grow on a personal level. Before joining, I never imagined I would feel comfortable speaking to large audiences. Through repeated practice, mentorship, and the encouragement of other ambassadors, I discovered that I genuinely enjoy teaching and explaining technical topics in an accessible way. This skill has become one of the most valuable things I gained from the program, and it continues to influence how I approach opportunities in my career today.
Overall, being part of this global network expanded not only my connections, but also my confidence, perspective, and sense of belonging in the tech world.
What impact did access to Microsoft tools and resources - like Azure credits, Visual Studio Enterprise, and Copilot - have on your journey as an AI-focused tech leader?
Having access to Microsoft’s tools and resources played a central role in my development as an AI-focused developer. The Azure credits were especially transformative: they allowed me to build personal projects, experiment freely, and prepare for certification exams without worrying about infrastructure costs. I also used Azure’s AI services while preparing talks and workshops, including sessions where I taught university students in Brazil about AI workloads and fundamental concepts. Being able to demonstrate real examples in a live environment made the learning experience much more impactful for them and for me.
As a back-end developer, having access to Visual Studio Enterprise became part of my daily routine. The advanced tooling helped me structure my projects more efficiently, test ideas quickly, and deepen my understanding of how large-scale applications integrate AI components. It made my technical growth much more consistent and hands-on.
Copilot was another resource that significantly shaped my journey. It accelerated my coding process, helped me explore new approaches to problems, and even supported my own learning in AI. Watching Copilot evolve inside Microsoft’s ecosystem gave me a front-row seat to the rapid progress of AI-assisted development. It changed how I study, how I teach, and how I collaborate with teams.
Together, these tools didn’t just boost my productivity—they expanded my confidence, strengthened my technical foundation, and helped me step into the role of someone who not only learns AI, but also shares it with others.
In what ways has the Student Ambassadors program strengthened your resume, boosted your confidence, or helped you develop AI-ready skills for your future career?
The Student Ambassadors program strengthened my resume and career trajectory in ways I could never have planned. Through it, I connected with influential professionals and true references in their fields—people I never imagined I would have access to so early in my journey. These connections opened doors to transformative opportunities, from speaking at women-in-tech communities to being invited to sit in the front row at the AI Tour Brazil and watch Satya Nadella in person alongside other selected students. Moments like these added real impact to my portfolio and future prospects.
The program also supported my preparation for key certifications, allowing me to study with confidence and build credentials that genuinely matter in the job market. But beyond titles and achievements, the biggest shift happened internally. The day I became a Gold Ambassador was the moment I realized that others saw leadership, reliability, and potential in me even when I still doubted myself. That recognition changed the way I carry myself.
I became more comfortable speaking publicly, sharing ideas, and leading conversations. Communicating with different audiences started to feel natural, and it taught me something invaluable: if so many people believe in my ability to lead and teach, I can’t keep questioning whether I belong.
The program didn’t just prepare me for a future in AI—it reshaped how I see my own capabilities and gave me the confidence to grow into them.
