I'm wondering when support for multiple transcripts will be released? We have a client with more than one language spoken - using the automated transcript I can get one language, but I can't figure out how to upload other ones? The Stream (in SharePoint) Transcript section doesn't cope with in-browser translations (unlike the rest of the 'Stream in SharePoint' page or ordinary SharePoint pages).
We also discovered that in order to get a good transcript, you need to make sure you upload the video using an account with the same language as that spoken in the video.
We have 2 current workarounds
1) is to use the Transcript as a sort of translator - by editing the transcript into a different language to the one spoken on the video, but that's terrible for accessibility - deaf or "without sound user" in the native country will see captions in the wrong language.
2) paste the transcript into a SharePoint page alongside the video - you need to add timings manually and it doesn't sync to the video like the Stream in SharePoint page does - but the browser can translate the SharePoint page automatically. Of course, it's not a fabulous translation, but it's often good enough.
There is not really capacity for manual translations across multiple languages, we're hoping for an automated solution, if you're able to provide an update please?
