Transcripts and captions coming to Stream on SharePoint

Hi malcolmcreen, thanks for sharing that particular feedback with us, just like you described it's especially complex when dealing with a myriad of videos and going to Video Settings every time to generate transcripts.  That being said, I just wanted you to know that we are actively working on providing automatic transcription for Stream on SharePoint.  While I can't provide you with an actual target date just yet, this feature will definitely be added—in due time—to our Microsoft Stream Roadmap where you can check its progress once we publish it.  I will update you once we hit that milestone.  In the meantime, if you have any other insights of feedback, we'd love to hear them.  Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with us!
