ODBC drivers not visible in the ODBC Data Source Administrator (odbcad32.exe)

Not sure if this is the correct place for this comment, but here goes:
Twice in the past week, my ODBC connection has "vanished."
In other words, in Windows 10: Control Panel/Administrative Tools/ODBC Data Sources (32bit)
that should show on the list of User DSN/User Data Sources: the following Driver
MySQL ODBC 8.0 ANSI Driver
simply doesn't show that on the list, and, when trying to use this driver with MS Access to reach a database, I get an error message that the driver is missing.
The Driver has been there for years, and it's suddenly gone. I re-established it, and a few days later, it was again gone. I've re-established it, and it's working today, but I suspect it will disappear again.
Any ideas on why this has happened? A windows update? Some other program or app?
The only thing new is I've subscribed to nordVPN.
I have other identical Dell laptops that are not experiencing this problem.
