Thanks for the sharing.  If I have a MSSQL 2016 cluster, then the migrated version is a 2022 cluster (newly installed environment).  
I am still thinking whether I should have the 2022 cluster in-place and being the replica (target) for the migration.  Can the target as a cluster?  I am still thinking whether it is fine for the migration.

 

I have not done it before and I was thinking using data replications.

Once it is synchronized, I think the next step is to drop the replication in MSSQL 2016.  Please suggest your clues.  Thanks in advance.
