You’ve probably all heard the phrase “you need to learn to walk before you can run.” While there are plenty of young children who get up and simply start rushing forward and crashing into everything, most people (and most especially the parents of the crashing children), would agree with that statement.

We’ve come up with a way to help you run with Microsoft Lync Server 2010 PowerShell (or any implementation of PowerShell for that matter) by first showing you how to walk with Windows PowerShell. Take that first step by reading through the Windows PowerShell 2.0 Reference . There you’ll find everything you’ll need to get you moving around comfortably with Windows PowerShell.

Once you’re able to walk easily with Windows PowerShell, you’ll be ready to take off running with Lync Server PowerShell. To improve your running style as you first get started, take a look at the Microsoft Lync Server 2010 PowerShell Reference .

By the time you’re done, you’ll be cruising along without crashing into anything. (Okay, at least without getting seriously injured in the process.)
