MicrosoftYou cant rely on Skype support to keep the phone updated. We turned this off and upadte firmware ourselves because MS has very old versions with known bugs that make it a frustrating experience for end users and admins. My suggestion is not to use the auto-update from Skype and update manually. As annoying as it is to do the manual updates, you can control the upgrades to stable versions of the firmware. Auto managed phone firmwares are not an achievable goal until MS ensures someone is actively managing the versions instead of saying it's a feature and leaving it outdated.
