KeepingITreal I have a ticket in for that exact issue. Calls from our VVX 411 never appear in Teams client but show in the admin console with the full details. This must be fixable.
Other issues we are troubleshooting:
- Deleting voicemails from the VVX 411 deletes it instantly from Teams client. Deleting it from Teams takes it about an hour to sync down to the phone and even then the behavior isn't consistent.
- Presence doesn't work for us at all when applied on the VVX, only when it is changed in Teams.
- Consultative transfer doesn't work from a Teams only VVX to a SfB VVX.
- Each user still has to sign into SfB once (even if they started as Teams only) to get call history to sync and get rid of that dreaded red triangle. We started as a Teams only shop, so telling users to sign into SfB one time is kinda...ridiculous. When they sign in it of course says they are Teams only but then the call history syncs.
Ryan Steele Thanks for the heads up on the end of support for the 3PIP phones. We just purchased into this system because our MS rep and Polycom rep told us they would be here at least 10 years. Microsoft, please do a better job at keeping your reps up to date. A complete VoIP overhaul is a big ticket item for medium to small government institutions. Finding out that our recent investment is only good for 4 years is a big hit to us. PLEASE extend this to 2025 at a minimum!
