KruthikaPonnusamy Sure, We have a deployment today with workers in a shop environment these workers during they day maybe paged to come to an office as well after hours they will answer phones to deal with customers or suppliers directly. This is a high noise environment so built in speakers on hardware do not work.
Today we meet this need using Polycom VVX phones and Algo speakers. The phone has a physical connection to the Algo using a ring detector and configuring the phone to send its ring via the headset port on the device. For Paging it is using send/receive RTP multicast on the subnet. I have tested this and it still works for a teams only user using a 3pip phone today.
Trying to plan a product life cycle and migration to Teams client and Desk phones this will be something we need to see support via the partners or confirmation that going forward Teams desk phone will not support this so we know to look for alternative products or worse a migration off SFB to a different phone system.
