Hi Community,
we have some VVX501 phones on Teams and have a problem where in the UK if they dial any number starting with 01 Teams strips the 01 and replaces it with + as it thinks its an international call. If we dial +44 all is well.
For now, we have fixed this with manipulation in the AudioCodes SBC.
Microsoft support simple response was;
This is Joe with Office 365 support. Thank you for taking my call today, as we spoke about over the phone, due to the calling plan with teams when you dial 011 the system is trying to make an international call. In order to make a local call with the area code 011, you will need to enter the country code (+44) first and then the 011 area code. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause
Surely as the 3PIP phones are supported this should not happen? We have looked at digit maps on the device and it seems these are ignored and its the Teams dial plan doing this.
Anyone else come across this challenge?
