Hi,
I'm currently having the AZ-500, which grants me the SC-100 title as i passed its exam aswell (and AZ-500 was one of the eligible prerequisite). With the retirement of AZ-500, what impacts would it have on my SC-100 title (i need it to be valid) ? If it compromise it, would the new SC-500 be eligible as a prerequisite for SC-100 aswell, and are there any plans related to "gap-filling" dedicated courses to ease the update from the retiring certification to the new associated one ? And would there be any tolerance time regarding SC-100 prerequisite validity due to this change, if i don't get it on time ?

No, if you have already earned an expert level certification, changes to the associate certifications do not affect you.

My expert-level certification requires achieving an associate-level certification as a prerequisite. If the associate-level certification expires, will my expert-level certification automatically expire, too?
No. Your expert-level certification will not automatically expire if your associate-level prerequisite certification expires. Each certification must be renewed separately by passing the associated renewal assessment.
I would expect the prerequisites will be updated to include SC-500 when it goes live

Thanks Julian,
Just to be sure, that means i will be able to renew this SC-100 expert level certification next year (and later on), even if the associated AZ-500 certification prerequisite has expired ?
