I have registered for AZ-204, but I got an email asking me to Reschedule it as they were not able to deliver it on that day and location, and now I am reading this Article I feel like AZ-204 is not worth it and I should instead register for AI-200, Now I am confused. Can I cancel the AZ-204 and schedule AI-200? Is it possible?

    You can cancel an exam at any time, but cancelation fees may apply so you should do ot as soon as possible to reduce the likelihood that you will have to pay one. 

    As for the exam, I suggest pivoting to AI-200 because of the registration issue (per the guidance in the blog) because you only have a few months to take and pass AZ-204.
