I noticed that one of the prerequisites for AB-100 is AI-102. Only when both are obtained can one obtain the AB-100 certificate. However, AI-102 is about to expire, and it will be replaced by AI-103. Therefore, I have two questions:

1. Can I take the AB-100 exam before the official launch of AI-103 and then take the AI-103 exam after its launch?

2. If I haven't taken the AI-103 exam one year after passing the AB-100 exam, will my exam score for AB-100 still be valid? If it becomes invalid, can I continue to keep it valid through a similar renewal process?

  1. Yes, the order you take the exams does not matter.
  2. Yes, exams do not expire, unlike certifications but this only applies as long as the prerequisites for the Agentic AI Business solution architect certification do not change and the AB-100 exam is not retired. Note: you do not renew exams, only certifications.

 

You could also take the AI-103 when the exam is in beta 

Expect the prerequisites for the expert level certifications to be updated once the exams reach GA.
