I have a question regarding the changes to AZ-800 and AZ-801. I passed AZ-800 fairly recently, looking to take AZ-801 in the next couple weeks. If both these exams are being retired to one exam (AZ-802) is there any purpose in me doing the AZ-801 exam? My main concern is I do not want to waste money if the certificate is going to be redundant... since I already have AZ-800 certificate, would I be able to essentially "retake" AZ-802? Just would like some clarification on how this would work. Thanks 😊
This has been answered elsewhere in the replies; the Windows Server Hybrid Administrator certification is not being retired, the two exams are being replaced by a single exam. So if you now pass AZ-801 you will earn the certification. You will not need to take the AZ-802 exam and will just renew the certification each year

Thanks Julian, main reason I ask is because I was debating if I should hold fire on taking the AZ-801 exam until AZ-802 becomes readily available. Given that it can just be renewed I will take AZ-801.
