MicrosoftThis is my question. I got the Hybrid Certification a few days ago, then to see this information is a bit annoying. I spent an awful lot of time, and money, studying these TWO exams, and they get migrated over into one exam! Furthermore, as you correctly stated, does this mean in a year's time, the Hybrid Certification - in az-800 & az-801 form becomes invalid, meaning there is no option to renew, I have to retake the az-802.
I'm hoping either there is an update path, or indeed like others have said, a similar situation as the MD-100, MD-101 and we automatically get the 802.
I mean, what a kick in the teeth if we have to do the full exam all over again!!
MicrosoftHello, the update to the Windows Hybrid Certification exam is designed to support you in staying current with evolving skills, while simplifying the journey with a single, streamlined exam. If you’ve already earned the certification by completing Exam 800 or 801, there’s no need to take the new Exam 802. Simply renew your certification through the new 802 renewal assessment, just as you would have with the previous version.

Would it be possible to share the upgrade path for all of the "new" certifications that are replacing the old ones? Which ones will be just renewed vs having to take the new exam?
