MicrosoftAZ-204 to AI-200 - why????? What a terrible decision. Is Microsoft so desperate that we have to lose the one certification that allowed devs to understand Azure architecture???
Devs don't care about all that AI non-sense, there is no real reason why someone wanting to show their skills on things like databases and message queues would have to endure reading about AI.
Absolutely, 100% terrible decision. I'm done with Microsoft certifications.

I understand your frustration and I'm in total agreement - wtf are they thinking here.
It's like the Az-800/801 going into one certification the az-802 - so, if they don't allow us to renew and FORCE us to take the 802 exam, then we would have paid a total of £360 in exam fee's in just over a year (depending on how quickly you earned both exams) AND we would only have the original certification for one year. Say if we cannot take the az-802, then we lose the certification.
