This whole situation is disgusting, then because you don't like what I've put you delete my valid, honest comment.
You are basically screwing us over here, making us pay 3 times for the Hybrid Administrator Certification, and wasting out time by not allowing us to renew. We paid out £270+ for a certificate that we can only keep for a year, it took me longer than a **** year to study for it!!

This is disgusting and equally disappointing, I will never look at Microsoft again. We are beinf treated like utter garbage.

The update to the Windows Hybrid Certification exam is designed to support you in staying current with evolving skills, while simplifying the journey with a single, streamlined exam. If you’ve already earned the certification by completing Exam 800 or 801, there’s no need to take the new Exam 802. Simply renew your certification through the new 802 renewal assessment, just as you would have with the previous version.
How does the renewal process work for Hybrid certification? Do we have to take a third exam?!? That's what we want to know.
It's true that skills count first, but the company's human resources also look at whether the certificate is valid or not.
We've spent money and time on these skills, and a certificate is still essential, especially for those seeking employment in this field. Now we don't want to find ourselves with nothing to present to companies.
What you study now is not worth tomorrow and what you study tomorrow is water under the bridge...

So, I just read another post. There is NO RENEWAL chance for those of us that have just passed. So we lose the certification after one YEAR!! This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE, to make us take two exams for this cert, which took me over a year, make us pay twice for the exam and then state that the certificate is not only retiring, but after one year it becomes invalid because we are u a le to renew it. Basically forcing us to spend months learning the new one and then have to pay AGAIN - a total of £360.
I won't be taking anymore MS certifications.
