Sorry, maybe I haven't been clear enough, or I am now completely confused, Julian.
I compare MB-240 and AB-100, because my understanding is that AB-100 will replace MB-240. I compare the MS Learn Courses for both, and I do not see anything Field Service related in AB-100.

I am trying to understand from a design perspective, how AB-100 can replace a MB-240. AB-100 doesn't talk about Field Service. Or asked differently: Which certification should a Functional Consultant pursue? So far I'd have said "MB-240!". Now MS team is saying "go for AB-100". 🤔
There is no direct 1:1 functional replacement for MB-240 in the new certification portfolio. Looks like AB-100 (Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect) covers Field Service within a broader agentic architecture context. Unfortunately individual product expertise is becoming less valuable than the ability to architect AI-driven solutions across products.
