MicrosoftHonestly retiring MS-102 without a real expert level successor feels like MS has lost touch with the people who actually run their tenants. In daily admin work we juggle Entra, Defender, Purview, Exchange and tenant settings all at once, and MS-102 was the one cert that reflected exactly that. Swapping it for an associate exam with a heavy AI focus is a downgrade not a replacement.
I cant remember any cert retirement that caused this much pushback, just look at the feedback thread here in the community.
MS please reconsider this or at least announce a proper expert level alternative. AI skills matter but they dont replace core administration.
