It covers the core M365 admin surface (tenant management, Exchange/Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive, Entra ID, Defender for Office 365, Purview) alongside Copilot and Agent 365 administration. For the deeper Identity, Security, and Compliance depth, we'd recommend Exam SC 500.
Wow. This doesn't sound important to you, from the looks of just copying and pasting the same answer to a few people and taking off.
I am looking at the market while I'm typing this.
I'm still seeing a plethora of posts asking for MS-102, Exchange Online experience, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Power Automate, Defender, and the like.
A "surface level" associate exam is not a valid substitute for what was a flagship expert level exam that "thoroughly" covered that entire platform, neither is telling folks to deal with it and just go take other exams like SC-500, which is inherently more focused on Azure than it is Microsoft 365 itself.
Now I do have confirmation that this certification vendor is not serious at all, but I'll also forget about retirement dates, because we're all forced too now I suppose, and I'll take the retiring exam, and have no interest in the new associate ai exam.
