Good evening, regarding the MS-900 Exam: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals which will be retired on 3/31/2026, what exactly is the case?

I have been reading for quite some time and I am about 90%.

Until 3/31/2026 I do not know if I will be ready with the tests and preparation to take the exam.

When will the next certification be released, that is, the one that will replace the MS-900?

Should I wait for the new certification to be released or should I take the MS-900 exam?

The new certification will be for life, so if anyone wants to add it to their resume or even on Linkedin?

    AB-900 is the replacement but it only overlaps around 20-25% of the MS-900 exam

    AB-900 is already live.

    I would take MS-900 and then look to take AB-900.

        No, you cannot take the MS-900 exam after 31st March.

        Is the MB-900 certification available and does it fully replace the MS-900?

        Yes, as I said, the AB-900 exam is live and as I also said it only covers around 20-25% of the MS-900 exam

        Which is better and more useful of the 2?

        They have a different focus. AB-900 is more useful to Microsoft and the direction Microsoft is moving. MS-900 is more relevant to most people now managing their Microsoft 365 tenant and devices.

        Yes, Fundamentals certifications do not expire and can be shared on LinkedIn
